Work Environment

The Rehabilitation Center offers an onsite work environment, fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a 40-hour work week, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities and limitations, establishing a personalized treatment regimen tailored to their needs.
• Design and implement innovative treatment plans, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques that address each individual's specific injuries or conditions.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse clinical team that includes occupational therapists, physical therapy assistants, and administrative staff, fostering an environment of shared learning and best practices.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about treatment protocols, progress expectations, and lifestyle modifications that enhance recovery.
• Consistently document patient care and maintain detailed records that align with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
• Achieve and maintain minimum utilization goals by developing effective therapeutic interventions that promote recovery.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills, ensuring patient satisfaction is a priority in every interaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a wide range of patients, encompassing various specialties such as orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, neurologic care, and sports medicine. As a Physical Therapist at Synchrony, you will engage with patients from diverse backgrounds and conditions, allowing you to leverage your clinical expertise in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida is required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Experience in establishing and nurturing patient relationships to enhance therapy outcomes.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation systems, ensuring efficient record-keeping.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective patient interactions and multidisciplinary communication.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, we highly value those who have worked in diverse clinical settings or have participated in continuing education workshops that enhance patient care capabilities. Experience with specific patient populations, such as geriatrics or athletes, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
