Machine Operator
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to quality and safety standards, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machines to ensure proper function and output.
- Perform machine setups, adjustments, and minor repairs as needed.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain accurate production records and complete necessary documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to prevent malfunctions.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
- Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve production issues.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in setup and operation CNC machines and/or screw machines
- Experience in a production or warehouse environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills required
Preferred:
- Experience with Acme, Davenport, or Tornos machines
