We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our team of swimming pool and spa experts. This Service Technician position requires lots of customer interaction, so the ideal candidate will not only possess the technical acumen, but also the ability to provide a strong level of customer service.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide a reliable, efficient, and professional service to clients and client follow up.
  • Perform all needed filter cleans and other periodical maintenance pool cleaning services professionally and safely, in line with manufacturer recommendations and all applicable codes
  • Represent Poolserv and ascertain clients’ needs and set expectations on first time and one-off cleans and/or maintenance
  • Perform initial maintenance post remodel work provided by Poolserv such as but not limited to brush downs
  • Load vehicle with standard and out of ordinary stock. Ensure all stock removed from warehouse is accurately recorded and maintain stock register and required tools to undertake services
  • Record all materials and products used on-site for invoicing purposes.
  • Identify poolside opportunities for upselling/sales opportunities
  • Collect data, take notes and pictures on a job site and report back to the office
  • Maintain a clean and safe vehicle environment, including vehicle presentation adhering to OSHA policies & procedures.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Pool Professional and Spa Operator (PPSO) certification preferred
  • Current Driver’s License and good driving record
  • 2 years experience in a similar role

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around
  • Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop
  • Ability to regularly push, pull and lift more than 100 pounds
  • Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders and other assigned supplies
