Work Environment

The physical therapist will work directly onsite within our comprehensive Orthopedic Outpatient Unit, where teamwork and communication are at the core of our practice. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, which include reviewing medical histories, performing specific assessments, and documenting results with clear recommendations for suitable treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment protocols that are both evidence-based and responsive to the individual needs of each patient, continually modifying the care plan as necessary based on documented changes in their condition.
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation of patient interactions, including detailed evaluation notes, treatment progress, and discharge planning to accurately reflect the patient's treatment journey.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient care strategies and ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to treatment.
  • Engage in discharge planning by setting follow-up protocols and ensuring that patients understand their continued care requirements beyond therapy sessions.
  • Attend regular team meetings and contribute to the improvement of clinical services and operational processes while fostering an open line of communication with co-workers, physicians, and patients.
Patient Population / Client Focus
