Job Description

Compensation: $21 per hour

Shift Time(s): Approximate hours are between 9 am to 9 pm and is subject to change at any time. Shifts range between 7-10 hours per day and shifts are available 7 days per week.

As a Delivery Driver at Swift Delivery Service LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring orders are delivered promptly and accurately within the community! You will start and end your day at Amazon Warehouse: DHT1

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a wide variety of packages, 200+ per day, involving exiting and entering vehicle
  • Packages can weigh up to 50 pounds
  • Comply with all safety rules and policies
  • Follow safety and quality standards on and off the road
  • Interact in a positive and professional manner with fellow teammates, customers and the general public while delivering products to customers' homes, retail stores and business locations
  • Exercise problem solving and trouble shooting skills for navigation, technology use and customer interaction
  • Have good organizational skills and communications skills
  • Follow delivery driving routes and time schedules
  • Load, unload, prepare and operate the delivery vehicle
  • Complete inspections of vehicle before and after scheduled route
  • Report any issues or problems to management immediately
Qualifications

As a Delivery Driver, You’ll Need:

  • Be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license
  • Pass a five-panel drug test
  • Pass a motor vehicle record check
  • Be physically able to handle getting in and out of a vehicle throughout the day
  • Have basic understanding of how to use electronic handheld devices to assist in deliveries
  • Be positive, punctual and have excellent time management skills
  • Have some degree of experience with larger vehicles is preferred (no Commercial Driver's License is required)
  • Available for an increased workload and overtime during the week of Prime Day and peak/holiday season (November through end of December)
