Salary: $28.00

CDL Dump Truck Driver (TEMPORARY), 40+ hours

C & S Sweeping Services, Inc. provides pavement profiling services, and we are hiring skilled CDL End Dump Truck Drivers for road rehabilitation projects.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Valid CDL Class A or B drivers, w/o air brake or manual restriction

Valid DOT Medical Card

Manual shifting experience is required

Experience with loading paving machines is preferred

Must be flexible, days, nights, and some weekends as needed

Acceptable driving record for the last 39 months & insurance acceptability

End Dump Truck Experience

Mechanically inclined we train to fix minor repairs on the equipment

Proven safe work practices and operations

Compliance with DOT and FMCSA laws


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:


  • Exposure to outside weather, including frequent hot and cold conditions, as well as exposure to fumes, vibrations, and airborne particles

  • The noise level is moderate

  • Requires the employee to sit, climb, bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

  • The work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts
  • Required to follow Company and Customer's mandated safety requirements.
  • Follow safety requirements at the landfills and pits
  • Hauling asphalt millings, dirt, AB - aggregate base, and other materials


SCHEDULE:


  • Monday to Friday

  • Day shift

  • Night shift

  • Overtime

  • Weekend Availability
  • The company provides transportation to and from the job and hotel accommodations when the job requires. Some short-term assignments are out of town.
