Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking a Senior Kong Developer to lead the strategic development of Kong Konnect Cloud Gateways. The role involves hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway and requires strong expertise in API design standards and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities:
• Minimum 4 years of hand on experience working in Kong API Gateway
• Working experience in Nginx/Kong Gateways.
• Experience in CI/CD - Jenkins, Ansible, Github Action
• Lead the strategic development of Kong Konnect Cloud Gateways, aligning with Kong's vision of offering a fully dedicated multi-cloud and multi-region API Gateway service
• Hands-on experience in installing and configuring Kong API Gateway and integrating with existing APIs
• Experience in maintaining the public API specification and documentation using Kong Developer portal
• Experience of automating Kong API gateway configurations as part of the DevOps pipeline
• Excellent knowledge about API design standards patterns, open API specifications, and best practices especially Swagger and OpenAPI 3.0, REST, JSON, XML
