What You Will Do:
Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity for MuleSoft Developers in a high-growth practice. You will be a key contributor on the consulting team that designs, develops, and implements innovative integration and API solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. You will help ensure successful client engagements, technical delivery, and implementation of scalable and secure enterprise integrations.
You will work closely with the Solution Architect, Technical Architect, business analysts, client stakeholders, and other members of the delivery team. This role requires a strong foundation in MuleSoft development, API-led connectivity, enterprise integration patterns, DataWeave, and the design and implementation of real-time and batch integrations.
What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree and a MINIMUM of FOUR (4) years of experience in enterprise application integration, including hands-on MuleSoft development experience using Mule 4 and the Anypoint Platform; OR TEN (10) years of relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or an advanced degree
  • Selected candidate must be able to commute to the Guidehouse San Antonio, TX office up to 5x/week
  • US Citizenship is contractually required
  • Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting MuleSoft APIs and integrations
  • Strong experience with Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave 2.0, APIKit, Exchange, API Manager, and Runtime Manager
  • Experience implementing API-led connectivity using Experience, Process, and System APIs
  • Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, RAML, OpenAPI, JSON, XML, XSD, and YAML
  • Experience building real-time, event-driven, scheduled, and batch integrations across cloud, SaaS, legacy, database, and on-premises systems
  • Strong DataWeave skills and experience with reusable error handling, logging, shared components, and common MuleSoft connectors
  • Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, asynchronous messaging, routing, transformation, and orchestration
  • Experience implementing API security using OAuth 2.0, Client ID Enforcement, JWT, SSL/TLS, mutual TLS, and certificates
  • Experience deploying MuleSoft applications to CloudHub, CloudHub 2.0, Runtime Fabric, or on-premises environments
  • Experience with Git, Maven, CI/CD tools, and automated testing using MUnit
  • Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting MuleSoft applications using Anypoint Monitoring, Runtime Manager, logs, and observability tools
  • Understanding of API lifecycle management, governance, versioning, security, scalability, and integration best practices
  • Ability to participate in technical design, code reviews, deployments, defect resolution, and production support
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams, business stakeholders, and client leadership
  • Up to 10% travel may be required for this position

What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • Experience in a "Big 4" or equivalent established consulting firm and/or MuleSoft implementation partner is highly desired
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 certification is preferred
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 2, MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, or MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect certification is highly desired

  • Experience deploying and managing MuleSoft applications in CloudHub, CloudHub 2.0, Runtime Fabric, or on-premises Mule runtime environments
  • Experience with source control and automated build and deployment processes using Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools
  • Experience troubleshooting application, connectivity, performance, and production-support issues using Anypoint Monitoring, Runtime Manager, logs, and enterprise observability tools
