Job description

Job Purpose
The Senior Vice President, Transformation Services is the executive leader responsible for driving an integrated, end-to-end revenue cycle transformation strategy for assigned clients to improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and overall revenue yield outcomes. The Senior Vice President, Transformation Services leads team overseeing end to end Revenue Cycle Transformation, ensuring all efforts align to a unified roadmap focused on highest-value opportunities.
The Senior Vice President, Transformation Services partners with client executives and internal teams to identify opportunities, set priorities, remove barriers, and ensure measurable, sustainable results. The role serves as a senior advisor connecting all transformation workstreams to enterprise financial and operational goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end revenue cycle transformation strategy, roadmap, and value creation agenda across Front-End, Middle, and Back-End functions
  • Identify, quantify, and prioritize opportunities to improve revenue yield, cash acceleration, AR, denials, reimbursement, patient collections, and cost-to-collect
  • Establish data-driven transformation priorities using performance analytics, benchmarks, and root-cause analysis
  • Define clear baselines, targets, milestones, ownership, and success measures; drive accountability for measurable financial and operational outcomes
  • Lead and develop a high-performing leadership team spanning revenue cycle transformation, analytics, and execution
  • Integrate cross-functional workstreams into a cohesive enterprise strategy, eliminating silos and driving alignment across Operations, Analytics, Technology, and Revenue Cycle leadership
  • Establish governance, performance management, communication, and accountability frameworks to accelerate execution and sustain results
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client C-suite and revenue cycle executives, translating complex performance challenges into actionable strategies and decisions
  • Provide executive-level visibility into transformation progress, value realization, risks, and required actions
  • Partner with Operations and Technology to implement sustainable workflow, process, automation, AI, and technology-enabled improvements
  • Ensure transformation initiatives are supported by structured implementation plans, clear ownership, measurable KPIs, and successful transition to operational ownership
  • Monitor execution and value realization, proactively addressing risks and intervening when performance or outcomes fall short
  • Maintain deep expertise across the end-to-end revenue cycle, including payer behavior, reimbursement dynamics, regulatory changes, and emerging industry trends
  • Anticipate industry and market changes, assess business impact, and develop proactive strategies to protect and enhance financial performance
  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert on complex revenue cycle challenges and enterprise transformation opportunities
  • Support business development, client expansion, and diligence through performance assessments, opportunity identification, solution design, and transformation roadmaps
  • Ensure recommendations are analytically rigorous, operationally feasible, scalable, and aligned to measurable client outcomes
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Use, protect and disclose patients' protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
  • Understand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all times
  • Limit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field required; Master's Degree preferred
  • 15+ years' proven experience in a leadership role within revenue cycle services, preferably in a healthcare hospital-based healthcare setting
  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle management principles and practices, with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality services to clients
  • Possess knowledge of state and federal governmental, legal, and regulatory provisions related to front-end, middle and backend revenue cycle operations
  • Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
  • Proficiency in revenue cycle management systems, electronic health records (EHR), and client management tools
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

Working Conditions
