Sutter Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic clinical team. Key Responsibilities

As an LMFT, you will play a vital role in enhancing mental health outcomes for our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments for individuals, couples, and families to understand their unique situations and therapeutic needs.
  • Facilitating therapy sessions for couples, as well as providing individual therapy tailored to each client's needs.
  • Employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address various concerns, including but not limited to:
    • Alcohol abuse and dependency
    • Psychological and physical abuse recovery
    • Grief and loss issues
    • Familial conflicts, including sibling rivalry and estrangement
    • Job-related stress
    • Medical issues affecting mental health
    • Challenges presented by blended families and remarriage
    • Adjustment and coping strategies during separation and divorce
    • Communication difficulties between family members
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare providers and community resources to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and documentation to reflect treatment progress and outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
