What is a Sutter?

A Sutter, also known as a suit tailor, is a professional who specializes in making, altering, and repairing suits or other clothing items, primarily for men. Their work involves measuring clients, selecting fabrics, and ensuring that garments fit perfectly and suit the customer's preferences. Sutter jobs require attention to detail, manual dexterity, and knowledge of fabrics and garment construction. Many work independently, in tailoring shops, or for fashion retailers. It's a skilled trade that combines craftsmanship with customer service.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Sutter?

To thrive as a Sutter, you need strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and experience or training in using tools for woodcutting and timber processing. Familiarity with chainsaws, axes, safety equipment, and sometimes forestry certification are typically required. Physical stamina, teamwork, and good communication are important soft skills in this role. These skills are crucial for maintaining safety, efficiency, and quality in timber harvesting and processing environments.

What are some typical challenges that Sutter operators face, and how can they prepare for them?

Sutter operators often encounter challenges such as working long hours in varying weather conditions, managing the physical demands of operating heavy equipment, and maintaining precise control to ensure crop quality. To prepare, it's important to build physical stamina, stay updated on equipment maintenance best practices, and develop strong observational skills for field conditions. Collaborating closely with farm managers and other operators can also help in addressing these challenges effectively and safely.

Job description

About Kontakt.io

Every day, intelligent software orchestrates the physical world around us – from matching drivers with riders to optimizing global supply chains. Yet inside hospitals, where every second and every decision can affect a patient's life, operations are still spread across dozens of disconnected systems.

At Kontakt.io, we're changing that. By combining proprietary hardware, AI‑powered intelligence, and deep integrations with the systems hospitals already rely on, we're creating a real‑time understanding of hospital operations that software alone can't deliver. That intelligence powers the execution layer hospitals have been missing – helping care teams make smarter decisions and deliver better patient care.

Backed by Goldman Sachs and trusted by leading health systems including HCA Healthcare, Sutter Health, AdventHealth, Trinity Health, Northwell Health, Cleveland Clinic, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, we're pioneering the next generation of healthcare operations. We've more than doubled our revenue over the past year and are on track to surpass $70M in annual recurring revenue – not because we're following a market, but because we're defining one.

If you're excited to solve hard problems, work with a team of builders, and help hospitals deliver better care every day, we'd love to meet you!

What You Will Own

Executive Support & CEO Operations

  • The CEO's calendar and inbox: prioritized scheduling, conflict‑free coverage, and time‑sensitive follow‑through on email threads and external coordination
  • Complex domestic and international travel, itineraries, and logistics, plus selected personal logistics that affect the CEO's effectiveness
  • Concise briefings before important meetings: context, decisions needed, open questions
  • A clear tracker of commitments and decisions across the org, with follow‑ups that happen without repeated CEO intervention
  • Preparation for the Weekly Leadership Sync, Monthly Executive Review, board meetings, and offsites
  • Selected cross‑functional projects, research, and improvements to the systems around the CEO's office
  • Strict confidentiality and discretion

Office & Team Experience

  • Day‑to‑day functioning of our NYC office, including greeting and hosting visitors, candidates, and guests
  • Proactively stocking and organizing the kitchen and office supplies
  • Team social events and culture‑building moments, from small in‑office touches to larger offsite logistics
Who You Are
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience from executive support, business operations, consulting, finance, executive search, legal, investor relations, or a high‑growth technology company.
  • You write clearly, notice details others miss, stay calm when plans change, and can be persistent without being abrasive.
  • You are comfortable with direct feedback and high standards, willing to challenge assumptions respectfully, and ambitious without viewing executive support as beneath you.

This role is not a fit if you prefer narrow and highly structured responsibilities, wait to be told what to do, avoid difficult follow‑ups, or are looking for a hybrid/remote position.

Benefits
  • Equity participation, health, dental, and vision benefits, paid time off, one flexible day per week, and direct exposure to company strategy, leadership, customers, investors, and board‑level work.
Compensation

The expected base salary range for this role is $90,000 – $110,000 for New York based candidates. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
