Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that employ various therapeutic strategies, including exercise regimens, manual therapy techniques, and the utilization of assistive devices.
  • Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families concerning self-care techniques and the proper use of assistive devices.
  • Engage in regular re-evaluations of patient goals and modify treatment plans to support optimal recovery and independence.
  • Maintain professional knowledge by actively participating in ongoing education, workshops, and professional networking opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes a diverse range of individuals with varying conditions, from pediatric patients requiring playful engagement in therapy to elderly clients needing rehabilitation post-surgery. Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Connecticut.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
Preferred Experience
  • While prior experience of 2 years is preferred, new graduates with a strong desire to learn and grow in a supportive environment are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in orthopedics, geriatrics, or sports rehabilitation is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
