The candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient, sustainable, and safe operations, aligning with our commitment to reducing the environmental impact of aviation fuel.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and optimization of SAF production processes.Implement innovative technologies to enhance efficiency and sustainability.Analyze process data to identify opportunities for improvement.Lead the execution of the Management of Change process and complete Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs),Manage engineering projects focused on plant expansions, process upgrades, and new technology integrations.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables align with organizational goals.Ensure processes are aligned with sustainability goals, reducing carbon footprint and enhancing renewable resource use.Stay updated with regulations and advancements in sustainable aviation fuels and renewable energy.Provide expert troubleshooting support for plant operations.Develop and implement solutions to technical challenges in SAF production.Ensure all processes comply with environmental and safety regulations.Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the plant.Work closely with other engineers, R&D scientists, and operational staff.Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical EngineeringMinimum of 5-10+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in renewable energy, biofuels, or a PSM regulated industry.Experience in sustainable aviation fuel production is highly desirable.Strong understanding of chemical processing and renewable energy technologies.Excellent project management and leadership skills.Proficiency in process simulation , engineering software and distributed control systemsAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic operating plant environment.May require up to 15% travel.Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.This position is open to candidates authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
