About Us

Gresham 4 Wheel Drive LLC is a specialized off-road and suspension shop focused on high-quality fabrication, lift kits, drivetrain upgrades, and 4x4 performance. We work on everything from daily drivers to fully built off-road rigs.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated technician with strong skills in fabrication, suspension installation, and drivetrain work. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience installing 6โ€“8 inch lift kits, performing regearing, and servicing differentials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform custom fabrication (welding, cutting, fitting components)
  • Install 6โ€“8 inch lift kits on trucks and SUVs
  • Perform axle regearing (ring & pinion setup)
  • Diagnose and repair differentials (front & rear)
  • Perform differential services (fluid changes, rebuilds, bearing replacement)
  • Install suspension components, steering upgrades, and drivetrain parts
  • Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs/upgrades
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years experience in off-road, suspension, or drivetrain work
  • Strong knowledge of lift kits, axle geometry, and suspension systems
  • Experience with gear setup (backlash, preload, pattern reading) preferred
  • Fabrication and welding experience (MIG required, TIG a plus)
  • Ability to use shop equipment (press, torch, grinders, etc.)
  • Valid driverโ€™s license
  • Own tools preferred

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with 4x4 builds and off-road vehicles
  • Knowledge of brands like Fox, King, Bilstein, etc.
  • Ability to diagnose driveline vibrations and noise
  • Alignment knowledge is a plus
