Job Description

Dresner Group provides IT support, solutions, and the occasional miracles to small/medium sized businesses. Are you interested in creating these occasional miracles? If so, we're looking for a Full-Time Client Support Technician 2 to join our growing team. You will primarily work from our [awesome] Columbia, MD office, while occasionally going onsite to our [awesome] clients.

8) You understand what a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is and how we function 

9) You understand IT and have experience working with Active Directory, Firewalls, Switches, Anti-Virus Software & Remediation, Print Servers, Microsoft Server & Operating Systems, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP

Your Responsibilities: 

o Provide IT support & the occasional miracle to our clients 

o Utilize the latest and greatest tools that IT has to offer while resolving issues 

o Interact with our clients in a professional and friendly manner. It's important to remember that not everyone knows IT and will easily understand terms like TCP/IP, Group Policy Object Administration, snap shots, etc. 


Qualifications

We do Require this:

o Hands on working experience in IT 

o Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent working experience. 

o Flexibility on the occasions when non-business hours work is needed

o Industry certifications or a strong desire to obtain them. We're believers that continuing education makes our team better than the rest. We're talking about: MCDST, MCTS, A+, Network+, CCA, VCP, MCSA, MCITP
