Job description

We are seeking a Program Manager to drive high-visibility, cross-organizational initiatives at the intersection of AI and Finance. You will own the operational backbone of our peer-to-peer executive engagement model connecting AWS Finance leaders with customer CFOs, while simultaneously shaping direction and building mechanisms for AI adoption, innovation, and knowledge-sharing across Amazon Finance.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end executive engagement lifecycle, including request intake, speaker matching, engagement readiness (e.g., tailored content, use case selection, and demo planning based on customer interests), and post-engagement follow-through
- Drive mechanisms to scale the program by educating and equipping field teams to lead customer engagements end-to-end, and integrating finance participation where it adds value
- Design and maintain program mechanisms, documentation, and operating rhythms that ensure consistent, high-quality customer experiences and efficient use of senior leader time, building trusted relationships across teams, organizations, and leadership levels to drive alignment, remove blockers, and keep stakeholders informed
- Manage a speaker readiness pipeline, tracking candidate development milestones, training completion, and shadowing requirements to maintain a bench of qualified customer-facing finance leaders
- Track program success metrics, synthesize engagement data, and produce reporting that demonstrates pipeline health, program ROI, and areas for investment
- Own operating mechanisms for AI transformation visibility across Amazon Finance, including cadence, stakeholder communications, cross-functional alignment, and executive-level reporting
- Foster a culture of AI innovation and knowledge-sharing across AWS AI Solutions Finance by designing forums, communication channels, and showcase opportunities for teams to share use cases and best practices
About the team
The Applied AI Solutions Finance team sits within AWS Finance Global Business Services (FGBS). We support the business teams building AI-powered solutions for enterprise customers, providing financial planning, strategic analysis, and cross-organizational program management. Our team operates at the intersection of Finance and AI, partnering with technical and business leaders to drive outcomes for AWS customers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience communicating effectively with senior leadership
- Experience building scalable programs and repeatable scalable processes, levering various tools and methods to create scale and efficiency
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience or equivalent experience in finance roles, or experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
- Experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive)
- Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
