Are you a Certified Surgical Tech with experience in Cardiovascular?

You must be in order to apply.

Currently looking for a Certified Surgical Tech (CST) to fill an opening located around the Port Arthur/Beaumont, TX area. Interested candidates must have experience in Cardiovascular.

Responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Tech (CST)

  • Performs a variety of technical duties to assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients.
  • Prepares patient skin for surgery by hospital standards.
  • Maintains aseptic techniques; actively monitors situations that could lead to breaches in aseptic technique.
  • Provides comfort and support for pre-operative patients by demonstrating sensitivity to patient care and privacy.
  • Transports patients to and from the Operating Room suite.

Requirements of the Certified Surgical Tech (CST)

  •  2 or more years of experience preferred
  • Full-time, Direct-hire Opportunity
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Completion of the Surgical Technology program or an accredited LVN/LPN program is required
  • Certification of Surgical Technologist from The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting within 180 days of graduation, or LVN/LPN License required
