Job description

The Surgical Technologist is responsible for supporting surgeries throughout the surgical process by preparing the operating rooms; setting up the sterile field and operating room with proper instruments, equipment, supplies; assisting the surgeon throughout the surgical procedure; maintaining sterile technique; preparing equipment;  prepare and sterilize surgical instrumentation; terminally cleaning OR suites; room turnover; pulling case supplies for next day procedures.

Education/Certification:

Graduation from an accredited education program for Surgical Technologists. 
CST certification desired. 
CBSPD Ambulatory certification desired.
BLS-Certification upon hire.

Experience:

Previous Operating Room experience with demonstrated Operating Room technical ability required
Demonstrated understanding of surgical/sterile field, surgical instrumentation and surgical processes and procedures
