Description

As our Regional Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales efforts of properties, providing strong strategic and tactical direction to the property. This includes monitoring sales activity; pace and production. Support the properties in "key account" management, and development and execution of sales SMART Plans. Also responsible for ensuring corporate sales processes are in place and are implemented including the correct use of corporate-approved pace, productivity, and end-of-month report, and that STSR is being used correctly and to its fullest capability.

Job Requirements:

  • Host weekly calls to the Director of Sales to monitor sales activity and production
  • Continuously analyze market trends and competition to identify new opportunities and threats.
  • Create and implement effective sales plans, objectives, and performance metrics.
  • Build and lead a results-driven sales team, including Director of Sales, Sales Manager and Coordinators.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to develop a high-performing and motivated sales force.
  • Set clear performance expectations and facilitate professional growth.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure multiple points of contact (some mixture of RDOS, DOS, GM) for key accounts to minimize impact of sales staff turnover.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to address customer needs and market demands effectively.
  • Foster a client-centric culture within the sales team.
  • Streamline sales processes, from lead generation to closing deals, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement and utilize sales technologies and tools to improve sales automation and reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds sales targets.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to drive performance improvement.
  • Establish and maintain KPIs for sales performance.
  • Develop portfolio roll-up reports, consolidating data from various sources to provide comprehensive insights into key performance indicators.
  • Develop and manage the sales department budget.
  • Ensure that resources are allocated effectively to achieve sales objectives.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in senior sales leadership roles within hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
