Description
We are looking for a Surgery Director at Howard Memorial Hospital. We are a critical access hospital located in Nashville, Arkansas. We provide comprehensive patient-focused care in a variety of settings- emergency, surgical, inpatient and outpatient-delivered by skilled medical professionals. Our not-for-profit status ensures that all financial resources remaining after expenses are re-invested in the hospital to improve technology, the facility and patient services. 
 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:                                                    

  1. Provides leadership for surgery/outpatient services for goal setting, problem-solving, resource management, and outcome achievement.
  2. Coordinates collaborative interdisciplinary strategies and processes for ongoing compliance with regulatory standards.
  3. Provides safe practices in all aspects of patient care activities.
  4. Ensures the surgery area and outpatient areas are following state and federal regulations.

Secondary Functions: All other duties required by CNO

Qualifications:
Education/Skills
  • Graduate of board approved school of nursing
  • BLS; ACLS
Licensure
  • Current Arkansas or compact state RN licensure
Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience
  • A minimum of 2 years management experience preferred.
