As a Surgery Scheduler in Ophthalmology, you will be instrumental in coordinating and scheduling surgical appointments and follow-up care for multiple physicians at our clinic or designated hospitals. You will ensure a seamless and efficient process for patients undergoing urological procedures, from initial scheduling through post-operative care.
Every day you will perform crucial pre-operative and post-operative data entry, assemble chart materials, and meticulously provide patients with all necessary information regarding their upcoming procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will possess meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a steadfast commitment to patient-centered service are crucial for managing complex schedules, ensuring accurate documentation, and facilitating a positive surgical journey for our urology patients.


Required

  • Two (2) years experience in a medical office environment with knowledge of medical surgical terminology
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Strong organizational skills
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • The ability to participate as a member of a team
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Excellent customer service and public relations skills
  • Experience/certification in department specialty may also be required
