The Role

As the Head of GTM & Broker Network Expansion – Powered by Surf On Demand , you will architect, launch, and scale one of the most ambitious broker platform initiatives in private aviation. Reporting directly to the Head of Surf Technologies , this senior leadership role is responsible for recruiting, training, developing, and managing a nationwide network of 100+ charter brokers and broker teams operating under the Powered by Surf On Demand platform.

This role combines go-to-market leadership, sales organization scaling, broker acquisition strategy, operational execution, and platform development. You will lead the growth of a multi-million-dollar charter sales organization while helping define the future infrastructure, technology stack, and operating systems that power the network.

The ideal candidate is a high-output aviation sales leader and builder — someone who understands charter brokerage economics, broker roll-up strategies, team acquisition, sales enablement, and how to create scalable systems for rapid expansion. You thrive in high-growth environments, understand entrepreneurial sales cultures, and know how to blend autonomy with accountability at scale.

This is not simply a sales management role — this is a business-building role.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the national go-to-market strategy for the Powered by Surf On Demand broker platform.

Recruit, onboard, train, and scale a nationwide network of 100+ charter brokers, independent agents, and broker teams.

Develop and execute broker roll-up and acquisition strategies, including identifying, recruiting, and integrating existing brokerage teams into the platform.

Build and manage a multi-million-dollar charter sales organization focused on sustainable long-term revenue growth.

Design scalable onboarding, certification, training, and sales enablement programs for brokers at all experience levels.

Establish operational frameworks, KPIs, compensation structures, accountability systems, and performance management standards across the organization.

Partner with executive leadership to define expansion strategy, market penetration initiatives, and long-term platform growth objectives.

Assist in the development and implementation of proprietary in-house technology platforms, CRM systems, broker tools, reporting infrastructure, and workflow automation.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Technology teams to optimize broker performance and customer experience.

Analyze revenue performance, broker productivity, pipeline health, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and scale.

Lead strategic initiatives related to enterprise partnerships, affiliate channels, and broker network expansion.

Serve as a senior representative of Powered by Surf On Demand at industry conferences, trade events, and strategic partner meetings.

Build a culture of performance, entrepreneurship, accountability, and collaboration across a rapidly scaling organization.

Provide ongoing reporting, forecasting, and strategic recommendations directly to the Head of Surf Technologies and executive leadership team.

Support M&A-style evaluation and integration of broker teams, books of business, and partnership opportunities.

Any other duties or strategic initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

7+ years of leadership experience in private aviation, charter brokerage, luxury sales, or high-performance transactional sales environments.

Proven experience recruiting, scaling, and managing large distributed sales or broker organizations.

Demonstrated success leading teams of 25+ professionals, with experience scaling organizations beyond 100+ representatives strongly preferred.

Deep understanding of charter brokerage operations, broker economics, and aviation sales infrastructure.

Experience executing broker acquisition, roll-up, or platform expansion strategies strongly preferred.

Strong operational mindset with the ability to build scalable systems, processes, and reporting structures.

Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams to develop internal sales technology, CRM systems, or operational platforms.

Proven ability to drive significant revenue growth in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.

Strong analytical, forecasting, and financial modeling capabilities.

Exceptional leadership, communication, coaching, and organizational development skills.

Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and execute cross-functional initiatives.

High adaptability and comfort operating inside a rapidly evolving public company environment.

Growth mindset with a passion for innovation, aviation, and building category-defining businesses.
