Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, adapting interventions to align with each patient’s personal and cultural backgrounds.
  • Provide high-quality individual, family, and group therapy sessions, fostering resilience and addressing a wide variety of mental health concerns.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other allied health professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
  • Deliver crisis intervention services as necessary, offering immediate support and guidance to patients experiencing mental health emergencies.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources, empowering them in their wellness journeys.
  • Maintain meticulous, confidential records compliant with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training to continuously enhance service delivery and cultural awareness.
  • Keep current with the latest research, treatment methods, and cultural considerations impacting mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve come from a broad range of backgrounds, including ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant populations. Your expertise will play a crucial role in addressing their unique mental health challenges within a safe and inclusive environment, ultimately promoting their overall well-being and resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid professional license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
  • A solid understanding of mental health disorders, along with effective evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing culturally responsive and inclusive therapeutic services to individuals and groups.
  • Strong crisis intervention and management skills, with a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to connect with diverse individuals and build rapport.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and appropriate boundaries in therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience
