They play a critical role in supporting the primary staff and improving the quality of services offered to clients or patients. Their work often requires strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to respond to diverse needs.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a support service worker?

To thrive as a Support Service Worker, you need a solid understanding of client care, basic health and safety procedures, and often a high school diploma or relevant certification such as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate.
