About the Opportunity:

A growing consumer products organization is seeking a Sales Support Administrator / Sales Operations Support professional to join its commercial team supporting major retail customers and national accounts.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in CPG, consumer products, retail, sales operations, business development, or commercial support who is highly organized, analytically minded, and comfortable working with sales data and retailer requirements.

In this role, you'll serve as a key Sales Operations partner to the commercial team, supporting Account Managers, Sales Leadership, and Business Development while helping ensure accurate reporting, strong customer support, and effective retailer execution.


The ideal candidate will have strong Excel and reporting capabilities, experience supporting major retailers, and a high level of attention to detail. Walmart and Walmart Retail Link experience is highly preferred.


Responsibilities:

  • Support Sales Managers, Directors, Account Managers, and Business Development teams.
  • Assist with customer and retailer requests and provide ongoing account support.
  • Create buyer presentations, sales decks, line reviews, and other commercial presentations.
  • Run, maintain, and analyze sales and customer reports.
  • Support item setup, retailer portals, account documentation, and DIMS requests.
  • Assist with retailer compliance requirements and customer-specific processes.
  • Support assortment, quoting, packaging, and sample requests.
  • Assist with Walmart Retail Link reporting and retailer-specific reporting.
  • Maintain accurate customer and account information.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Logistics, Marketing, Finance, and other internal teams.
  • Support ongoing Sales Operations projects and process improvements.
  • Provide coverage and assistance to the existing Sales Support team.
  • Help improve reporting accuracy, customer support, retailer execution, and overall sales effectiveness.
  • Proactively manage projects and priorities with minimal supervision.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Support, Sales Operations, Customer Service, Business Development, or Administrative/Commercial Support.
  • Experience within consumer products, CPG, retail, housewares, hydration, food storage, or a related industry preferred.
  • Experience supporting Walmart or other major retailers strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Walmart Retail Link highly preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience working with sales data and reporting.
  • Experience creating sales presentations, buyer presentations, line reviews, or sales decks.
  • Understanding of item setup, retailer portals, customer reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting Account Managers, Business Development teams, Sales Managers, or Sales Leadership.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively manage projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving mindset.
  • High school diploma required; additional education preferred.
