Position Overview: Reporting to the Festival Director, Senior Festival Operations Manager, and On-Site Festival Manager, the Festival Support is responsible for the setup, operation and tear down of the festival and providing a positive customer experience. Working side-by-side with the Festival Lead, the Branding Lead, and the Kids Lead, the Festival Support plays a vital role in maintaining timelines to build the festival layout as well as running race day operations and tearing down the festival in a timely manner. Festival Support is also responsible for training and working alongside volunteers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Transport (operate machinery) zone supplies as tents and zones are assembled
  • Be available to run supplies and volunteers to areas of need in festival, both build week, event day(s), and load out
  • Manage volunteers throughout the set up to ensure the festival is completed on time.
  • Support the Branding Lead in inventory and maintenance of branding materials.
  • Support the Festival Lead in inventory of tents, fence, and other owned materials.
  • On event days, support the Volunteer Coordinator with check in, changeover, and check out.
  • Assist the Festival Team in zones as needed on event day including, Finish Line, Bag Check, Trifecta Tent, Start Line, etc.
  • Oversee operation of festival challenges throughout the event day.
  • Manage volunteers throughout tear down.
  • Manage local labor including, waste management and event security.
  • Capture content on event day from participants and share with Event Director
  • Event day point of contact for Biggest Teams/Corporate Teams.

  • Able to spend long hours standing and walking.
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Adaptable to ever changing situations and weather conditions.

  • Have experience operating machinery, or be willing to learn
  • Be comfortable traveling 115 days or more during the year
