We are seeking candidates who are interested in working with our Municipal Infrastrastructure and Roads team based out of our Barrie Office.

What Youโ€™ll Do

Youโ€™ll be part of a collaborative team that values initiative, curiosity, and follow-through, key responsibilities include:

  • Producing detailed design drawings in AutoCAD Civil3D at various stages of the project โ€“ preliminary, detailed designs, and tenders for municipal infrastructure and roads.
  • Building and refining complex 3D corridor model
  • Supporting engineers in designing roadway and underground pipe networks that meet municipal and regulatory standards
  • Assisting with design calculations, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.
  • Assisting with preparing municipal special provisions, schedule of items, and tender documents.
  • Supporting contract administrators and construction inspectors as needed during construction.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

ย What You Bring

  • A diploma in Civil Technology or Computer Drafting (AutoCAD/Civil 3D), or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in municipal infrastructure design and construction.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Strong design skills and a passion for precision and creativity.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint) and PDF editing tools.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to standards.
  • A valid Class G driverโ€™s license and access to a reliable vehicle

Nice to Have

  • Progress toward OACETT certification.
  • Construction site inspection or field experience.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000

The final compensation offered will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
