Hospice Aide

Providence at Home with Compassus

Position Summary: As a Hospice Aide, your focus will be on helping patients with daily activities and providing personal care. AI-supported tools allow you to document key patient details efficiently, giving you more time to deliver compassionate, hands-on care.

Patient-Centered Care: Spend more time providing hands-on, compassionate care to patients.

Reduced Documentation Burden: Use AI-supported tools to streamline clinical notes and regain personal time.

Work-Life Balance: Cut down on after-hours documentation, allowing more time for family and personal priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and monitor basic health needs.
  • Leverage documentation tools to track care provided and report patient conditions.
  • Build trust with patients by maintaining focus on their needs.

Education and/or Experience

  • Certified Nursing Assistant highly preferred.
  • In states where licensure is not required, applicants must meet one of the following:
    • They are already a licensed/certified aide; or
    • They have completed a state-approved nurse aide training program AND have been continuously employed in that capacity for the previous 24 months

Compensation range: $21.10 - $29.08

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities
