Reno-Sparks Indian Colony: Who We Are

The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony represents descendants of three Great Basin Indigenous peoples: the **Numu (Northern Paiute)**, **Newe (Western Shoshone)**, and **Washeshu (Washoe)**. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have a high diploma or a G.E.D. at time of hire;
  • Must be at least 18 years of age at time of employment;
  • Must have physical agility necessary to run, jump, bend, stoop, lift and stand for regular periods of time; and
  • Must have at least one (1) year of prior experience in recreational programs dealing with children and/or adults, coordination of or participation in team sports or professional work in a gym or recreational facility.
