Position:

Hamadeh Educational Services is looking for a Preschool Support Aide to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year! As the support aide you will act as a relief and help guide students through the assistance of planning, assessing, and instructing grade level content based on the needs of each student. The support aide is also responsible for helping maintain program quality and documentation as outlined through GSRP guidelines.

Academy Mission:

The Academies mission is to provide their students with a quality education that focuses on a core curriculum and international cultures including the study of language. The academies provide an education of the whole child by integrating different diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds to their college-preparatory program serving families in the Greater Detroit area.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates and maintains a fun and interactive learning experience for all students
  • Promotes a safe, nurturing environment where students can play, learn, and grow
  • Retains open communication with parents
  • Creates goals for the success of the school, implement and achieve goals as a team
  • Implements appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, and materials
  • Ensures comprehension of learning styles and student needs
  • Uses analytics and data to help drive instruction and promote learning
  • Plans activities and projects that are relevant to the students' needs
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, or Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification
  • Thorough knowledge of Michigan Core Curriculum is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills including oral, written, and interpersonal
  • Ability to work well in culturally diverse setting
  • Knowledgeable with computer based programs such as Microsoft Office
  • Flexible, open-minded, self-driven team member
