The Opportunity

PremiStar is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our growing team in Canton, OH.

In this role, you'll manage and grow relationships with existing commercial customers while identifying opportunities to expand recurring service agreements, equipment replacements, and additional mechanical services. You'll serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers maximize the performance of their HVAC systems while driving long-term customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial and industrial customers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service and account management.
  • Grow existing accounts by identifying opportunities for preventive maintenance agreements, repairs, equipment replacements, controls, plumbing services, and other mechanical solutions.
  • Renew maintenance agreements and negotiate contract extensions.
  • Identify equipment replacement opportunities by evaluating equipment condition, repair history, and lifecycle costs.
  • Prepare service proposals, maintenance agreements, repair quotations, and budget pricing.
  • Review technician reports and communicate recommendations to customers.
  • Coordinate with service managers, dispatchers, technicians, estimators, and operations teams to ensure projects are completed successfully.
  • Respond to customer RFPs and develop customized service solutions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and account activity.
  • Resolve customer concerns while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Represent PremiStar with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to safety.


What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service sales, account management, facilities management, or mechanical contracting.
  • Experience selling commercial HVAC service agreements, repairs, retrofits, or equipment replacement projects.
  • Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, building automation systems (BAS), controls, and mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and construction documents is a plus.
  • Experience preparing service proposals and maintenance agreements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar CRM software is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
