SUPPLY CHAIN SYSTEMS ANALYST

JOB SUMMARY:

Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for optimizing supply chain systems, analyzing workflows, and delivering effective training to ensure seamless adoption of processes and technologies. This role focuses on bridging the gap between system functionality and user expertise, enabling the supply chain team to operate efficiently and meet organizational goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct onboarding sessions on supply chain systems and processes for new team members and refresher courses for existing employees.
  • Identify skill gaps through employee feedback and performance data.
  • Customize training programs to address specific operational challenges and team needs.
  • Measure the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Refine training content and delivery methods based on feedback and results.
  • Evaluate current supply chain systems to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to implement new features or systems that enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Map out end-to-end supply chain workflows and identify bottlenecks.
  • Propose and implement strategies for process optimization and automation.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for systems and processes, ensuring consistency and accessibility for all users.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with organizational goals.
  • Partner with supply chain, procurement, logistics, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and processes.
  • Act as a key point of contact for troubleshooting system-related issues and providing user support.
  • Use analytics tools to monitor system performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
  • Generate and present reports on system usage, training outcomes, and process performance to management.
  • Train team members in AMTS, QAD, SAP, MGO, CHIPS, BASS, and other software.
  • All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years’ experience in supply chain systems analysis, process optimization, or training roles in an Automotive Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing international shipments and customs documentation.

TRAVEL: 

  • Travel Required: Yes

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Proficiency in system analysis tools.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP and TMS platforms.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong adaptability and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain operations and system functionalities.
  • Ability to design user-centric training programs and translate technical concepts into actionable knowledge.
  • Expertise in analyzing and optimizing complex workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
