Summary

The Senior Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for providing end-to-end execution support for Grain purchase and sale contracts while balancing customer service, operational efficiency, cost, and compliance. This role serves as a key coordinator across the order fulfillment lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely execution of customer and internal shipments, product quality tracking, documentation, settlement support, and issue resolution.

This position requires a deep understanding of the Grain business and strong collaboration across commercial, supply chain, transportation, terminal operations, distribution, finance, credit, tax, accounting, and IT teams. The Senior Supply Chain Coordinator plays a critical role in delivering a best-in-class customer experience while also driving process improvements, standardization, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives across order management processes.

This is a hybrid role with at least three days per week on-site at our global corporate headquarters in Inver Grove Heights, MN 

Responsibilities
  • Own order lifecycle: setup, shipment coordination, tracking, documentation, and settlement support
  • Execute and monitor shipments in ERP systems; ensure accuracy and on-time delivery
  • Partner with merchandisers and internal teams to support fulfillment and resolve issues
  • Coordinate across supply chain, transportation, operations, finance, and other functions
  • Communicate and resolve customer issues, supply gaps, and order exceptions
  • Identify bottlenecks, prioritize opportunities, and collaborate across teams to improve efficiency and service levels
  • Track KPIs (OTIF, order accuracy, etc.) and provide reporting/analytics
  • Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation
  • Escalate risks, execution issues, or service concerns to commercial and supply chain leadership
  • Ensure compliance with risk, credit, and documentation requirements
Minimum Qualifications (required)

2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, order management, or operations

Additional Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in supply chain, business, ag, or related field
  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, order management, or operations
  • Strong cross-functional coordination and problem-solving skills
  • ERP/system experience and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Grain/agriculture industry experience
  • Knowledge of contract execution, transportation, and settlements
  • Experience with process improvement, KPI reporting, or automation

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
