The Director of Customer Supply Chain is responsible for developing and executing customer supply chain strategies that maximize product availability, service, and profitable growth while strengthening strategic partnerships with customers. This role leads to a high-performing team and serves as the primary link between customers & internal teams inclusive of Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Finance, Retail Execution to deliver operational excellence, continuous improvement, and best-in-class customer execution.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Customer Supply Chain organization (including remote team members), fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and execute customer-specific supply chain strategies that improve service, availability, distribution, profitability, and long-term business growth across National Grocery & Club customers.
  • Build collaborative relationships with customer supply chain organizations, Sales Leadership, and cross-functional business partners to execute strategic initiatives and customer projects.
  • Accountable all customer supply chain activities, ensuring successful execution of short-, mid-, and long-term operational and strategic objectives.
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration and serve as the commercial supply chain subject matter expert for strategic projects, change management initiatives, and business transformation efforts.
  • Lead customer onboarding, distribution model changes, and network transitions to support evolving business needs.
  • Drive supply-to-shelf execution through optimized order management, replenishment, fill rates, on-shelf availability (OSA), inventory optimization, and customer compliance.
  • Partner with customers to improve inventory productivity through allocation strategies, vendor-managed inventory (VMI), shelf minimums, segmentation, and network optimization.
  • Anticipate customer needs, emerging trends, risks, and opportunities by developing proactive supply strategies and implementing sustainable solutions that support customer growth.
  • Establish standardized routines and processes to proactively manage product supply, resolve operational challenges, and identify continuous improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Own customer scorecards and key performance metrics, including Fill Rate, OSA, In-Stock %, Inventory, Days of Supply (DOS), Order Compliance, Lead Time, and Forecast Accuracy.
  • Develop executive dashboards, scorecards, and report that provide visibility into customer performance, business trends, risks, opportunities, mitigation plans, and key actions.
  • Communicate insights and customer operating model best practices to internal and external stakeholders, influencing business strategy and improving Chobani's supply chain 
Requirements

The requirements of this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree or years of experience in combination with education.
  • Minimum of 10+ years' experience with CPG or food/beverage sector as well as a strong understanding of the customer facing supply chain function
  • Minimum 5 years prior people management experience, strong cross-functional work experience
  • Proven track record of coaching and development leading teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • In depth/proven understanding of forecasting and inventory management within Customer Supply Chain is required
  • Perishable replenishment experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build meaningful and impactful internal/external relationships that translate into business strategy and results
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; with focus on Excel
  • Exposure to SAP BI preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment that impacts multiple functions
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and ad hoc requests while applying innovative thinking to drive solutions
  • Must be attentive to detail and accuracy

The salary range for this full-time position is $140,000.00 - $220,000.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

To help save for the future, all employees are eligible for a 401k match of 100% on up to 5% of eligible pay.
