Job description

The Supply Chain Manager will have direct oversight for strategic sourcing operations, initiatives, and overall supply chain efficiency. This role will drive continuous improvement, especially regarding operations surrounding supplier operations and performance. This position will also work cross-functionally with the Engineering and Operations teams.

This role will be primarily on-site in Albany, OR with some flexibility. The role oversees a team in strategic sourcing and oversees all strategic sourcing projects and initiatives in the company.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Own and Manage the Supply Chain
    • Oversee supply chain functions including demand planning/forecasting, operational planning, inventory management, capacity planning, supplier management, logistics management, and warehouse management
    • Identify and execute on continuous improvement and cost reduction opportunities in all areas of the supply chain, both internally and externally
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with other company department
    • Supervise the Buyer/planner team.
  • Own and Manage WPS-Operations Globalshop system
    • Ensure that all Purchase & Work Orders are entered timely and correctly to drive Manufacturing and Suppliers to meet our customer tool schedules.
  • Own and Manage the Warehouse Operations
    • Manage Inventory asset to financial goals while minimizing lead-time impact on customer service and build schedules.
    • Manage Warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, and inventory control.
    • Supervise the Shipping/Receiving team.
    • Working with Production Manager, ensure that material staging, and kitting is accomplished in a productive fashion.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or 7 years applicable experience.
  • Minimum 7 years proven experience buying and sourcing materials in a technical environment.
  • CPIM and/or CSCP certification from the Association for Operations Management (APICS) is preferred.
  • Proven track record managing large complex organizational change, through implementing new systems or process via Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, sales techniques and project management skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications
