Supply Chain Manager (Temporary)
Position Overview
LHH is seeking a strategic and proactive Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations and drive initiatives that improve efficiency, service levels, and overall business performance. This role is responsible for managing inventory flow, coordinating cross-functional activities, optimizing processes, and ensuring the timely movement of products throughout the supply chain. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with operational leadership to support organizational goals in a dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead supply chain initiatives focused on improving inventory availability, operational efficiency, cost control, and customer service performance.
  • Manage inventory planning, forecasting, replenishment, and product flow to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Partner with operations, distribution, merchandising, procurement, finance, transportation, and technology teams to ensure alignment across supply chain activities.
  • Analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify trends, develop actionable insights, and implement process improvements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects that enhance warehouse operations, distribution efficiency, and overall supply chain effectiveness.
  • Monitor supplier performance, inventory accuracy, fulfillment metrics, and logistics activities to ensure operational excellence.
  • Identify potential supply chain risks, capacity constraints, and operational challenges while developing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Develop reporting dashboards and present key performance indicators, inventory health, service levels, and operational updates to leadership.
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures that promote consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Support implementation of new systems, technologies, and operational processes while facilitating communication, training, and adoption across business teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or Operations Management
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in supply chain, inventory management, logistics, distribution, procurement, or operations, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing supply chain, inventory, logistics, or distribution operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain planning, inventory management, demand forecasting, and process optimization.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) or supply chain management systems.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple initiatives while collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
