Summary

Chenega Naswik International is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to support a high-profile security program throughout the National Capital Region. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing logistics operations, inventory management, property accountability, armory support, and equipment readiness for mission-critical security personnel. The ideal candidate has experience supporting Department of Defense, military, federal law enforcement, or security operations and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

** This position is contingent upon contract award **


Responsibilities
  • Manager all logistics, inventory, supply, and property accountability
  • Oversee Government and Contractor-furnished equipment, including weapons, radios, uniforms, and mission-essential
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and accountability of sensitive
  • Coordinate equipment issuance, maintenance, repair, and replacement
  • Conduct inventories, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance and
  • Generate logistics and inventory reports for program
  • Support contract startup, transition activities, and surge
  • Supervise logistics personnel and assist with process
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Active Secret Clearance required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum three (3) years of logistics, supply chain, property management, inventory control, or accountable property experience.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, military, federal law enforcement, government contracting, or security operations.
  • Experience managing accountable property, controlled equipment, weapons, communications equipment, or related assets.
  • Successfully pass background and drug screening
  • Experience utilizing inventory management systems and maintaining detailed accountability records.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional logistics certification such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Possess a strong knowledge of logistics operations, supply chain management, inventory control, and property accountability.
  • Possess a basic level of proficiency with Information Technology (I.T.) software applications, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point and Access.
  • Possess verifiable speaking and writing skills that demonstrate the ability to professionally communicate with customers and stakeholders, including high-ranking government officials.
