Your Mission

The Supply Chain / Demand Planner is responsible for developing demand forecasts and translating them into inventory plans that support production, customer service, and working capital objectives. This role balances customer demand, production capacity, and inventory investment by managing forecasts, safety stock, reorder points, and material availability across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

How you will make a difference
  • ERP Data Maintenance: Maintain planning-related master data accuracy within the ERP system; Perform routine audits to validate planning parameters and inventory data integrity; Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Purchasing to ensure data reflects current processes and constraints.
  • Demand Planning: Develop, maintain, and analyze demand forecasts across multiple time horizons using historical data, trends, and businessinput; Monitor forecast accuracy, identify deviations, and adjust forecasts in collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Product Management; Prepare demand planning data and reports to support S&OP / Sales & Operations Planning processes; Maintain and manage monthly forecast updates in the planning system.
  • Inventory Planning: Establish and maintain safety stock levels, reorder points, and order quantities for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods; Optimize inventory turnover while balancing service level and carrying cost objectives; Support urgent and future material availability goals in coordination with Sales and Customer Service; Analyze excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory and recommend corrective actions.
  • Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Analyze inventory, demand, and service-level metrics to identify improvement opportunities; Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to planning accuracy, inventory health and material flow; Support implementation and refinement of planning parameters, planning policies, and system settings.
What you should be good at
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in demand planning, inventory planning, or supply chain roles in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of demand forecasting and inventory planning principles. Proven experience in root cause analysis, order expediting in manufacturing.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills. Experience working in MRP, ERP, and planning systems. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., IFS, SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred). Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

  • Compensation: This is a salaried exempt position with a pay range from $73,894 - $110,840 per year. Pay will be based on qualifications and experience.
  • Location: This role is based at the Deublin Company facility in Waukegan, IL. The role will be on site daily the first 90 days, with the opportunity to transition to 3 days onsite / 2 days remote work following the introductory period. Local candidates encouraged to apply; no relocation benefits for this position.
