The Senior Financial Analyst – Supply Chain will serve as a key business partner to the operations and logistics teams by providing financial insights, performance analysis, and strategic support across the supply chain network. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and supporting productivity initiatives to drive cost optimization and operational efficiency.

Your Next Pour: The Opportunity

We are looking to add a Sr. Financial Analyst to our Supply Chain Finance team. This role will be responsible for distribution budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and supporting productivity initiatives to drive cost optimization and operational efficiency. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Own the periodic forecast and annual operating plan (AOP) for multiple transportation cost centers.
  • Develop rate-based transportation forecasts by partnering with Transportation, Customer Logistics, and Procurement.
  • Analyze monthly financial performance and explain key drivers versus AOP, forecast, and prior year.
  • Support long-range planning, inflation assumptions, and transportation cost modeling.

Financial Analysis & Business Partnering

  • Provide weekly and monthly financial reporting on transportation performance, including freight rates, cost per mile, cost per case, carrier performance, and network productivity.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis and identify operational and financial improvement opportunities.
  • Develop financial models supporting transportation network optimization, sourcing strategies, and productivity initiatives.
  • Evaluate ROI for transportation projects and recommend investment priorities.

Freight Cost Governance & Controls

  • Monitor transportation rates and ensure accurate freight accruals through collaboration with Transportation, Accounting, and Freight Payment teams.
  • Support freight audit activities by reviewing default-rated shipments, zero-rated shipments, and market rate updates.
  • Improve financial controls related to freight payment, carrier rates, accessorial, and transportation billing.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend automation opportunities that improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.

The Perfect Blend: Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in supply chain, distribution, or transportation Finance experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong communication and business partnering skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be located in Bradenton, FL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
  • Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment with 3-days in office, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations
  • Travel up to 10% ~ 20%
