What is a supplement specialist?

A Supplement Specialist is a professional who provides guidance and information about dietary supplements, vitamins, and related health products. They typically work in health food stores, pharmacies, or wellness centers, helping customers select the right supplements based on their individual health needs and goals. Supplement Specialists possess knowledge about product ingredients, benefits, potential interactions, and safe usage. They often stay updated on industry trends and regulations to offer informed advice. While they are not licensed healthcare providers, they play an important role in supporting customers' wellness journeys.

What are some common challenges faced by supplement specialists when advising customers, and how can they be addressed?
