Job description

The Steward Supervisor directs, assists, supervises, and trains all Stewards in maintaining all assigned kitchen and Food & Beverage work areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition on a daily basis to promote overall cleanliness, sanitation and compliance with state and local health regulations.The Supervisor must ensure that all kitchen equipment is prepared and operational for the following shift’s work, alerts Executive Steward of potentially serious issues, provides guidance and direction to stewarding team on assigned shift, works to meet or exceed goals provided by Executive Steward including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc. and must understand all stewarding team members’ positions well enough to perform duties in team members' absence or determine appropriate replacement to fill gaps. Will also be responsible for ensuring disciplinary procedures and that documentation are completed in a timely manner.
