Job description

Class Summary This is a part-time position with a maximum of 1,508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays, leave, or benefits. Job Description The Rental Attendant will be responsible for setting up and maintaining rental spaces for events. The incumbent will be enforcing facility rules, ensuring that equipment is appropriately utilized and following all safety protocols.

In addition, this position will be maintaining all rental paperwork including rental agreements, checklists, Certificate of Insurance (COI) floor plans, etc. Essential Duties Supporting event setup and take-down, including moving tables, chairs, and other equipment for internal and public programs. Greeting customers, answering inquires, and providing recommendations for room rentals and rental equipment Conducting site visits for rental customers that include showcasing the facility or grounds Overseeing renters and guests during events to maintain Gwinnett County policies and procedures Assisting with custodial tasks inside the facility, including mopping, sweeping, and stocking supplies as needed Addressing new requests timely and reporting any concerns to supervisor Collaborating with team members and other divisions/departments to complete special projects and programming needs Performing routine administrative tasks Other Job Requirements/Information This job requires fingerprinting.

This job may require on-call rotation and emergency after hours, weekends, and/or holidays. Hourly rate Salary will be $16.80 per hour Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED AND 2 years of hospitality, facility management rentals, or customer service experience An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
