Job description

Stabil Drill, A Superior Energy Services Company, is a global company that provides tough, durable tools to support the energy industry in some of the most demanding drilling applications. We have the most talented team of knowledgeable people who work together to deliver on our promise of integrity, strength and innovation.
Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Welder/Grinder to join our team in Midland Texas. This position will perform duties including welding various types of materials with MIG and TIG both in manual and automated applications as well as manual and CNC grinding.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for manufacturing and repair functions in the welding and grind shop.
  • Repair downhole drilling equipment, including stabilizers.
  • Work with management to estimate time frame on welding and grinding jobs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ensure awareness of, and compliance with, relevant company/customer QHSE requirements.
  • Perform other duties as required by Supervisor.

Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • 1 year of welding and grinding experience preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
