Job description

Position Requirements:

B.S. in Construction Management, or related engineering discipline

10 years of experience in the commercial concrete construction industry with strong estimating skills

Project management experience with Div. 03 project size more than 5 million in contract value

5 years' experience on Elevated Concrete Structures

Management level communication and leadership skills required

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain overall responsibility for schedule, Flow, quality and safety on all CCS projects.

Organize, lead, and develop Assistant Superintendents and Field Engineers within CCS.

Overall management of self-performed concrete work.

Maintain and log daily reports.

Lead role in developing work sequence, flow, and phasing plans with Juneau Superintendent.

Lead in initial setup, monitoring and maintenance of safety measures with Juneau Safety Manager on CCS jobsites.

Manage and track site specific orientation for all CCS workforce and in scope trade partners.

Monitor and ensure compliance of safety related reporting including daily weekly and quarterly reports. Work with site Safety Manager to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements.

Ensures project staff's competence level meets company and OSHA standards and works with Safety department to setup trainings as needed.

Verify all CCS employee trainings are up to date on an annual basis.

Hold led role in reporting accidents and injuries as well as dealing with violations of CCS employees and subcontractors on CCS jobsites.

Is responsible for ensuring all field delivery tickets are scanned and sent to the CCS PE/FE for Data entry into the tracking spreadsheets.

Lead project team in detailed review of Div. 3 plans and specifications.

Utilize checklists for audits as required and document per quality control protocols.

Serve as "teammate of PM" and in conjunction develops a plan for changes with regards to timing of purchases, estimates, projections, allocation, and tracking.

Participate in purchasing and scope meetings.

Maintains constant field monitoring of work in progress and document throughout the day.

Maintains and reports Lessons Learned at the end of each project.

Tracks Extra Work via tickets and reports these activities to the PM for Pricing.
