Sunshine Counseling & Recovery Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote role. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide therapeutic services primarily through telehealth while also conducting face-to-face sessions in our outpatient office located in Manassas, Virginia. This role is primarily conducted in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while connecting with clients. The outpatient office in Manassas provides a supportive environment for in-person sessions when necessary, ensuring comprehensive care. Our clinic operates seven days a week from 7 AM to 10 PM, offering you the opportunity to design a schedule that aligns with your personal lifestyle and professional aspirations.

• Provide individualized therapy plans tailored to the unique needs of clients, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused strategies.
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to inform treatment processes and create clear therapeutic goals.
• Deliver group therapy sessions, as well as couples and family therapy, while employing evidence-based practices that promote healing and growth.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and optimal client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health counseling.

Our diverse clientele includes individuals, couples, and families seeking support for a variety of challenges, including relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering resilience and supporting clients from various backgrounds in their journey toward mental well-being.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling role, demonstrating effective therapeutic techniques.
• A strong foundation in family systems theory, couples therapy, and best practices for addressing trauma and substance misuse.
• A thorough understanding of legal and ethical standards pertinent to mental health counseling.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport and trust with clients.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across various disciplines.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, trauma recovery, or dual diagnosis treatment is highly preferred.
• Experience working in telehealth settings and adapting therapeutic modalities for virtual platforms.

The compensation package for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, with additional bonus opportunities. Our benefits include:
