Contract Business Attorney - Small Business Clients
As a Contract Lawyer serving our Access Members, your core responsibilities will encompass:
  • Contract Review and Drafting: Carefully review and draft contracts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimal protection of our Access Members' interests.
  • Legal Consultations: Provide expert legal guidance and consultations to our Access Members as needed.
  • Client Support: Offer responsive and solution-driven support to address our Access Members' legal needs promptly.
  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to support clients' cases and transactions effectively.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in South Carolina.

Qualifications
• Licensed attorney in good standing with a U.S. state bar (Texas preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of experience practicing business law, including contracts, entity structuring, and advising small businesses
• Strong ability to explain legal concepts in plain English to business owners
• Experience advising forward-thinkers or small business clients
• Comfortable working in a client-facing advisory role, not just document drafting
• Ability to identify legal risks and recommend proactive solutions
• Strong judgment and business-minded approach to legal strategy
• Comfortable working in a remote, flexible, contract-based environment
