Organization:
SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Valley
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for support and maintenance of Laboratory Systems - Beaker, Sunquest/Clinisys Lab, etc.
Coordinates cross-functional teams and resources throughout Sutter Health and its regional affiliates in the implementation and support of Information Services (IS) projects. Is responsible for new applications, modules, and software installations as well as interface, integration, hardware upgrades, and major application upgrades related to Clinical Laboratory Systems. Collaborates with clinical staff, business staff, and business operational leadership to provide support, training, and participate in goals and objectives planning and prioritization as related to IS applications. Ensures staff adhere to IS standards.
Job Description:
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
  • Bachelor's: Computer Science, Information Technology, or Laboratory Sciences related

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
  • 5 years recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • Expert knowledge of specifying user requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of support and maintenance of Laboratory Systems - Beaker, Sunquest/Clinisys Lab, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards to better support business requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of healthcare operations and structure.
  • In-depth knowledge of the lifecycle of application environments.
  • Thorough understanding of hospital inpatient and clinic outpatient operations.
  • Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
  • Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships resulting in the formulation of logical and objective conclusions.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations.
  • Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Pay Range is $126,256.00 to $189,384.00 / annual salary
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health's comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
