Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming is the leading neighborhood retailer for premium pet food, gourmet baked treats, and luxury grooming services. We are seeking a versatile, energetic Bather / Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

This dual role splits time between the grooming salon and the retail storefront, offering a dynamic environment for someone who loves dogs and enjoys customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Grooming Salon (Bathing):
  • Bath, condition, and blow-dry dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments safely and efficiently.
  • Perform spa services including nail trims, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and gland expressions.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized bathing area, including tubs, cages, and towels.
  • Assist professional pet stylists to ensure a smooth, safe daily workflow

Retail & Customer Service:
  •  Greet customers and their pets, providing exceptional customer service and product recommendations (food, treats, toys, and supplements).
  • Manage the grooming schedule: answer phones, book appointments, and handle check-ins/check-outs.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle cash/credit transactions accurately.
  • Maintain store appearance by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and cleaning the retail floor.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience handling dogs in a professional or volunteer setting (vet clinic, shelter, daycare, or grooming salon) is highly preferred but not required.
  • Customer Service: Minimum 1 year of retail, hospitality, or reception experience preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and safely lift up to 50 lbs (lifting dogs into tubs).
  • Availability: Must have flexible availability, including weekend shifts (Saturdays/Sundays).
