Job description

Dog Daycare Responsibilities

  • Supervise groups of dogs during daycare and playtime.
  • Monitor dog behavior and interactions to help maintain a safe environment.
  • Separate dogs when necessary and report behavioral concerns or injuries to management.
  • Clean up accidents and maintain clean play areas.
  • Provide fresh water and ensure dogs have appropriate rest breaks.
  • Follow individual feeding, medication, and care instructions when applicable.
  • Assist with safely moving dogs to and from kennels, play areas, and other areas of the facility.
  • Provide appropriate attention, exercise, and enrichment for dogs in our care.
  • Watch for signs of illness, injury, stress, or unusual behavior and report concerns immediately.

Dog Boarding Responsibilities

  • Feed dogs according to their individual schedules and instructions.
  • Administer approved medications as directed.
  • Take dogs outside for potty breaks and exercise.
  • Clean and sanitize kennels, bedding, bowls, and surrounding areas.
  • Monitor each dog's appetite, bathroom habits, behavior, and overall well-being.
  • Ensure each dog receives the appropriate level of care, attention, and comfort during their stay.
  • Keep accurate records of feedings, medications, and any concerns.

Cat Boarding Responsibilities

  • Feed cats according to their individual feeding instructions.
  • Provide fresh water daily.
  • Clean litter boxes and surrounding areas regularly.
  • Clean and sanitize cat boarding spaces, bowls, bedding, and other equipment.
  • Monitor cats for changes in appetite, litter box habits, behavior, illness, or injury.
  • Provide appropriate attention, enrichment, and interaction based on each cat's personality and comfort level.
  • Administer approved medications as directed.
  • Ensure cats are secure and safely handled at all times.
  • Cats do not come out of kennels unless their space needs to be deep cleaned.

Cleaning & Facility Responsibilities

  • Clean and disinfect kennels, play areas, floors, bowls, and equipment.
  • Wash and replace bedding as needed.
  • Clean up urine, feces, vomit, and other animal-related messes promptly.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary facility.
  • Follow all cleaning and sanitation procedures.

Because working with animals can be unpredictable, employees must understand that this position may involve barking, jumping, scratching, accidents, strong odors, cleaning bodily fluids, and handling animals with different temperaments and behaviors.

We are looking to fill slots for everyday of the week. Staffed hours for daycare and boarding would be between 6am-6pm Monday-Friday, Saturday & Sunday 6am-10am and 2pm-6pm.


Our retail store hours are Monday-Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 9am-4pm and Closed on Sunday.
