Job description

Revolution Dog Training is seeking a Dog Trainer (certified preferred) with at least 1 year of professional experience. We are looking for individuals who can work well independently and with others to board and train dogs.

Applicants should have experience with balanced training methods and can effectively train a dog in obedience and correct behaviors using dog psychology/behavior modification. Applicants must also have a strong work ethic, good communication skills, a high level of customer service, a positive attitude, excellent time management skills, ability to read dog body language and handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments.

This is a board & train position; dogs will need to stay at your house.

This is an independent contractor position. Commission based. Commission will vary depending on services. Please understand there is no guarantee on how many hours/dogs you will work per week.

Job Responsibilities:

* Working one-on-one with board and trains at your home

* Interacting with clients and potential clients in a professional manner both in person and by phone

* Going to potential client homes for pick-up/drop-off

* Reinforcing commands

* Documenting dog's progress using photos and video and communicating with their owners

* Keeping dog areas clean and picked up (Cleaning crates regularly and disinfecting when a dog returns to owner, picking up outside, making sure there is nothing dogs can get into, etc.)
